Native Houstonian Robin Barr Sussman studied at The Culinary Institute of America, Greystone, California and has an extensive background in catering in Houston and the Wine Country. As chef and special events coordinator for a Sonoma County winery, her specialty was wine and food pairing. Sussman is a columnist for My Table Magazine and Modern Luxury Publications specializing in restaurant and food features. Her work has appeared in Texas Monthly, Resort Living, The Houston Press, 002 Magazine, Grape, and Private Clubs Magazine.
